WHO AM I?

Hi I'm Meg!

I am a freelance copywriter looking to help business owners articulate their stories and help others improve their writing techniques. A one-person show based in South Wales, I've developed my brand after years of pursuing and perfecting my writing. 

I graduated from the University of South Wales in 2018 with a BA (hons) in English and Creative Writing. I also featured in their yearly anthology for all three years of my degree (two years of which I was co-head of the society that published the book, DAPS). This is on top of the published anthologies I featured in during my school years and the novel I completed and self-published.

I believe there is nothing more important than language when it comes to shaping a society's values and beliefs. Cultures are built through the words we speak and our ideals enforced through conversations. To see change in the world, we must first evaluate how we speak and write about all that is important. It is in the stories we create that we can bring about change for the better.

In my job as a marketing assistant, I have written content for both social media and blogs for a variety of industries - from health clinics to manufacturers, even for the funeral sector.

So, as you can see, I like writing.

In fact, my life is writing. It's the one thing besides travelling that I am passionate about - so travel writing is definitely a dream of mine!

It really is no surprise that I am pursuing writing as a career. That's why I set up this website! To share my passion with you and offer my services so that you can focus on your business.

I've also recently delved into the world of editing and proofreading professionally! I have experience proofreading and providing feedback to those learning English as a second or other language. Helping others improve their English skills is something I thoroughly enjoy and look forward to continuing in a freelance capacity.
